January Favorites

Jan favs.jpg

Hey guys! I wanted to share with you some of the products I have been LOVING this past month. You might have seen some of these products in my previous posts, but I wanted to share some of them again because they are just so good and worth the hype! Here are my January favorites….

Double Duty Beauty Shape Tape Contour Concealer (light)– I know everyone is raving about this concealer but it truly is the best one I have ever tried (even better than my mac pro long wear). It is easy to apply and blends out very easily. This concealer is extremely full coverage and takes the smallest amount to cover any darkness or imperfections. It also comes in many shades; therefore, I think anyone could find their perfect match with this concealer. It is a little pricey; however, I believe that it is worth every penny because you get a ton of product and it will not dry up. This concealer lasts such a long time, so you don’t have to worry about constantly buying it all the time. I definitely recommend this concealer, especially if you are looking for one to last all day.

YSL Black Opium Eau de Parfum– Let me just tell you…. This is my FAVORITE perfume ever! If you are looking for a nice perfume that is going to last all day, I would definitely recommend this one. What is funny about this perfume is that I think it smells better the longer I wear it. I have gone many places and been asked what I was wearing and I had been wearing the perfume for a good eight hours already. The smell is heavenly! It is very feminine and kind of smells like a mix of flowers and vanilla. I love this perfume so much and the best part about it is that it lasts all day long, yet it isn’t overpowering.

Fake Bake Flawless Darker Self Tanner– Every time I have applied my self tanner lately, it has always been my fake bake. I know I have previously mentioned this self tanner in my favorite self tanners post, but I wanted to share it again because I love it so much. After I apply it, I am left with a deep, dark brown color and it looks so natural and smooth. I don’t notice any streaks with this self tanner and it is so easy to build up if I want the color to be darker. I also really like this one because it doesn’t stick to my dry patches; therefore, if I don’t exfoliate that well, it won’t look crazy on me. I really love this tanner and would recommend this one above all the others I have tried.

Purity Made Simple One-Step Facial Cleanser – This cleanser has really helped keep my face clean this month. I have been recovering from extremely bad cystic acne and painful, tiny whiteheads I would always get around my nose and mouth and this cleanser has helped a bunch with keeping my skin free of them. I don’t think it helps with preventing cystic acne because a lot of that is internal; however, I don’t get those annoying whiteheads anymore; therefore, I know this product helps with acne on the surface of the skin. I believe it has helped my skin so much because it is a makeup remover and cleanser all in one. It takes almost all of my makeup off while cleansing my face. If you want to try this cleanser but don’t want to buy the big bottle, there is a smaller bottle where you can test it out first. This cleanser is definitely worth a try if you suffer from annoying whiteheads or just need a good face cleanser.

Mally Poreless Perfection Foundation (light)– This makeup really surprised me because when my face was breaking out with those huge bumps, I felt like no makeup could cover them or make them look less noticeable. I decided to try this powder because someone in my family recommended it to me and it looked so pretty on her skin. After I applied my regular foundation and concealer, I applied this makeup to those huge bumps on my chin and was super surprised because it actually covered them and made them look almost invisible. If you are struggling to find some makeup that actually covers your blemishes, I would definitely recommend this powder.

Its a 10 Miracle Leave-In Product Plus Keratin– This leave-in conditioner has done wonders for my hair in such a short period of time. I can’t rave about this product enough. It really tames my hair and leaves it so smooth and tangle-free. I had such a hard time finding a product that would actually make my hair look healthy and am so happy that I tried its a 10! When they say “miracle Leave-in Product” they aren’t joking.

Infallible Pro-Matte Liquid Lipstick (Milk & Cookies)– This lipstick is so good! Finding good quality drugstore lipsticks are extremely difficult to come by so this product really surprised me. It is a matte lipstick; however, it does not dry out my lips or leave those weird lines. It goes on smoothly and stays on all day long. I really love the colors too and that it has so many different ones. You definitely need these in your life!

I hope you enjoyed this post and found it helpful! If you have any questions, feel free to message me any time.

5 Things You May Not Know about Me and My Fiancé.

Hey everyone! I hope you are having an amazing day! I want to share with you 5 things you may not know about me and my fiancé.

1. We met when we were fifteen and it took me the longest time to actually talk to him. We began instant messaging on facebook and then texting; however, when he tried to talk to me in person, I would walk away because I was too nervous to talk to him. When I finally got the courage to talk to him, we starting hanging out and became best friends. Im sure that now he probably wishes I would quit talking as much but I always joke with him that he is going to be stuck with me forever in June.

2. We LOVE to eat! Our favorite things to eat are Mexican and pizza. I never thought I would find someone as picky as me until I met Daniel; therefore, if we can’t decide what to eat, then Mexican or pizza usually wins.

3. My fiancé is one of the happiest people I know. He always encourages me in whatever I am doing and his positivity really helps me get through hard times. I am guilty of assuming the worst about everything and he has a way of keeping me positive and happy. I think that is why we are so good together because when one of us is down, we always try to pick each other up.

4. Our favorite thing to do besides eat is watch football and Netflix together. We are big Georgia Bulldogs fans and when we aren’t watching football, we are watching Netflix. If you haven’t seen Shooter or Taken, you need to watch them! They are both so good and very action packed!

5. We try to put God first in our lives as much as we can. We both know that good relationships don’t last without God and we want to always put God in the center of ours. Sometimes Daniel will send me scripture or daily devotionals and most of the time they are exactly what we need when we are stressed or just need some advice. I truly feel that he is the perfect person for me and that God knew what he was doing when he put us together.

I hope that you learned some new things about our relationship and thought it was interesting. If you have any questions, feel free to message me any time! Also, what are your favorite things to do with your significant other?

Let all that you do be done in love. – 1 Corinthians 16:14

How to Fake Longer Lashes Using All Drugstore Products!

longer lashes.JPG

Hey everyone! I want to share with you how I fake having longer lashes using all drugstore products. I’ve never had long lashes and for the longest time was so envious of everyone who did because I had no idea how I could make them look as if they were longer. At the time, I was terrified of eye lash curlers because I thought that they would pull out my eye lashes (I’ve heard some crazy stories); however, I eventually realized the correct way to use them and now don’t go a day without using them. Even though eye lash curlers are amazing, I also believe that the type of mascara can make or break your lashes. I am going to share with you three products that I use (all from the drugstore) that truly work for me to make my eyelashes look longer.

Revlon Gold Series Lash Curler: This lash curler is amazing! I love it because it curls my lashes so well. If you have seen me without makeup, then you know that my lashes are extremely short and straight. With this lash curler, I don’t have to worry about them being so short or looking crazy because it gets the job done. When I curl my lashes, I usually curl them about three or four times, just to make sure that I curled all of them. I also make sure to curl them before I apply my mascara. It is best to do it this way so your eyelashes don’t get stuck to the lash curler, causing them to be pulled out. I have tried other eyelash curlers; however, I didn’t like them as much as I like this one. I truly think it is amazing and have gone through like 3 of them now. I do replace my lash curler when I notice it to have too much mascara on it, just so it works better.

Loreal Original Telescopic Mascara (blackest black): This is the best mascara that I have ever used! I love it because it doesn’t clump my lashes and makes them extremely long! It is very difficult for me to find a mascara that won’t clump my lashes and with this one, it doesn’t do that at all. I also find that I can apply a good bit to my lashes and build up the color. The only downfall with this mascara is that it doesn’t get extremely dark like other mascaras I have tried. For this reason, I go in with another mascara that is a bit darker to darken up my lashes, which allows them to stand out better.

Maybelline Volume Express the Falsies Mascara (very black): This mascara works well to darken my lashes and it only takes a couple coats to get the job done. I think this is a great mascara; however, if you use too much, it does clump your lashes. I love this mascara and that the color gets so dark. If you want your lashes to really stand out, then I definitely recommend trying this product.

I hope that you found this post to be helpful and if you have any questions, feel free to message me any time! Also, what are some of your favorite mascaras?

If it makes you feel beautiful, then do it. -Unknown

My Favorite Self Tanners

Hey everyone! Today, I want to share with you my favorite self tanners. I’ve never been one to lay in the tanning bed or in the sun very long so having these products to use has been a life saver! I am definitely one of those people that cannot stand to be pale. I don’t know why, but I don’t look good pale at all. I definitely did not get the dark skin tone that most of my family seems to have.

Before we get started talking about my favorite self tanners, I want to quickly explain that you need to shave and exfoliate very well before you apply any self tanner to your skin. This will ensure that the tanner soaks into your skin and doesn’t sit on the surface, and you will get a deeper and darker color. I have used many self tanners in the past and wondered why they didn’t get me very dark. Lets just say I was being lazy and not exfoliating before I applied it; therefore, it sat on the surface of my skin and most of it washed off with the color guard the next morning. The products that I use to exfoliate include exfoliating gloves, a sugar scrub, and my clarisonic. I don’t think that you have to go out and buy the clarisonic to exfoliate your face, but I have just had mine for a while and it is what works best for me. I will link all of the exfoliating products below if you want to check them out. Here are my favorite self tanners.

1. Fake Bake Flawless Darker: This self tanner is one of my top favorites because it is easy to use, the color is a nice, dark brown color (no orange tint) and it has a color guard so you can see where you are applying the product. I also really like the smell because it reminds me of the beach. I love that you can decide how dark you want your tan to be because it is easy to build upon the color you already have. For example, I will put on one coat of self tanner and then a few minutes later I will go in with another coat to darken the color up even more. I like that it works this way so that the color looks more natural and I don’t have to worry about people seeing streaks (been there, done that many times). The only negative thing I have to say about this tanner is that when applying it, it can get extremely messy; therefore, I always put a dark towel on the floor when I spray the product so it doesn’t get all over my bathroom floor. I find that I get a darker color if I spray it directly on my skin but you can also spray the product on the mitt and apply it that way if you think it might be too messy. I would definitely recommend this self tanner to anyone because it’s easy to build up and you can get very dark with this product.

2. Loving Tan 2 Hour Express (Dark): I really like this self tanner because it is a mousse; therefore, it goes on a lot quicker and easier. It isn’t hard to rub in and it leaves you with a pretty, dark brown color. This one has a color guard as well, which helps you see where you applied the self tanner and if you missed any spots. The only negative thing I have to say about this one is that if you don’t moisturize well, it will get streaky within a couple days when it wears off. For the longest time I couldn’t figure out why it would get patchy on me, but when I kept applying lotion every day, it didn’t have that effect on me. I would definitely repurchase this product because when they say “2 hour express” they really mean 2 hours. This tan develops very fast so if you have somewhere to be in just a few hours, then this product would be really great for you.

3. St. Moriz 60 Minute Tan: This self tanner is so amazing because it’s not expensive, it can easily be applied because it’s a mousse, and it doesn’t get streaky at all. I love it because I can put it on really fast and not have weird streaks. This one also has a very dark color guide so you can see where you are applying the product. I find that I am usually reaching for this one the most because it’s so easy to put on and it gets me extremely dark. This self tanner lasts about 3-4 days, but most of the time I still have some color by day 5 or 6. I really think it is all about how good you exfoliate and moisturize so the tan can sink into your skin and last a while. I will link some good exfoliating products below.

4. St. Tropez Classic Self Tanning Mousse: I also really like this self tanner because if you want a nice glow, but don’t want to get crazy dark, then this one would be good to use. This might sound crazy but sometimes I put this on after I get out of the shower and the next night I will go in with another tanner that is darker if I want to build up the color. By doing this, my tan looks so natural and I have been asked many times what I was using, because everyone knows I’m never naturally tan. I don’t think you can go wrong with this self tanner because it is very high quality; however, if you are looking for something to get you really dark very fast, then I would either use the fake bake flawless or the St. Moriz 60 minute tan that I previously mentioned above. St. Tropez does have a starter kit if you have never self tanned before and just want to try it out. I will link it below.

5. Jergens Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer (Med/Tan): I love this moisturizer because it enhances the tan that I already have. It doesn’t get streaky on me and it’s great for prolonging my tan so I don’t have to reapply self tanner as often. Jergens also has a face tanner, so if you have sensitive skin like I do, then the face tanner might be best to use on your face so you don’t break out.

I hope that this was helpful and if you have any questions, feel free to message me any time!

How to Get Perfect Curls

Hey everyone! Today I want to share with you what I use to curl my hair. I am obsessed with curling my hair and getting those perfect curls and want to share with you how I do it, but first I want to tell you a little bit about my hair. I have very thick, coarse hair. It is extremely hard for it to hold a curl if I don’t have a curling iron that gets hot enough to reach all the strands of my hair. For this reason, I bought a very high quality curling wand that curls my hair and the curls last for days. I can sleep on them, throw my hair up in a bun, and even exercise and my curls will not fall out. I truly believe that with hair products, especially curling wands, you get what you pay for. Don’t get me wrong, I was very skeptical about this wand for a long time, but after seeing the reviews and amazing things it did for people’s hair, I knew that I had to get it. I wanted to share my reason for buying it because I knew that people would wonder why someone would pay so much for a curling wand. Let me tell you, it works miracles!

The curling wand that I use every day is a T3 interchangeable curling wand (I will link it below). It comes with three different barrels and gets extremely hot. I use the one inch barrel on my hair because it gives me those perfect curls that don’t make my hair look extremely short and kinky. What I really love about this wand is that I can also pull the curls out to make them look more natural and don’t have to worry about them completely falling out. Since this wand does get extremely hot, it reaches all the strands of my hair and keeps me from having to re-curl pieces throughout the day. I mean what girl doesn’t want that perfect hair that lasts all day long? I will say that if you are looking for a wand that does just that, then this one would be perfect for you. The only negative thing I can say about this wand is that it is very pricey. For this reason, I want to share with you another amazing wand that I believe is almost just as good.

The Nume Magic Wand Curling Iron is also one of my favorite curling wands I have ever used. It gets extremely hot, just like the T3 and leaves you with those perfect curls that lasts for days. The only difference between the two wands is that the T3 gets a little bit hotter, which is good for girls with extremely thick hair like mine. This wand also falls into a better price range and can be found at many places (I will link this one below). I also have the three piece set, which is called the Titan 3. This set has three different sized barrels with it, so you can switch it up for different looks, just like the T3 interchangeable wand. Both of these wands have heat settings so you can choose how hot you want the wand to get, which is great because it’s suitable for all hair types. I absolutely love Nume wands and would recommend them to anyone who is interested in buying a good quality wand, but does not want to spend a ton of money on one. Also, if you are just wanting to buy one of them, I would recommend the 1 inch Nume Magic Wand.

If you have any questions, feel free to message me any time! Also, let me know if you have tried any of these wands and tell me what you think of them!

Next time you think of beautiful things, don’t forget to count yourself in.” -unknown

How I Got Rid of My Dark Circles!

Hey guys! I hope you are having a great weekend! Today, I want to share with you how I  faded my dark circles. When I was in middle school, people would ask me all the time if I was tired because my dark circles were so prominent. I was once asked if I had a black eye (true story) and that was when I began to have confidence issues. I began experimenting with makeup to hide my imperfections because back then, I thought that was the only solution to cover them. As I got older, I started putting more and more makeup on, trying to hide them. I also started drinking more water, thinking it might fix the problem. I did notice that my dark circles weren’t as prominent; however, they still did not go away, and it really bothered me. I felt like I couldn’t go anywhere without makeup. Isn’t that a terrible feeling?

Estee lauder eye cream

About six months ago, I went to Belk to buy my Estee Lauder foundation and was given some skincare products that were part of the purchase. The Advanced Night Repair Eye Cream (pictured above) was one of the products that I received, and little did I know that it would be one of my holy grail beauty products.

As I looked more and more at my dark circles, it motivated me to give the eye cream a try. I started getting very serious about my skincare routine and put this eye cream on every night and morning. Within a few weeks I began to notice a HUGE change in my skin. I got to the point where I didn’t wear makeup as much because I didn’t see as many imperfections and I noticed that my skin had a glow that I had never seen before. I truly believe that this eye cream helped fade my dark circles because nothing I had ever used before actually helped them. This product is amazing and I know that it is expensive, but I would definitely repurchase it because of the amazing benefits it has. If you are looking for a good eye cream, I would recommend this above anything else.

If you have any questions, feel free to message me any time!

Top 10 Drugstore Makeup Products

2 Top 10 Drugstore Products
1. Loreal Infallible Pro Matte Foundation- This foundation is my absolute favorite foundation at the drugstore. If you have oily skin, this product will be your best friend. It does not move on my face throughout the day; therefore, I never have to touch it up with powder. I mean who has time for that anyway? It also looks FLAWLESS on the skin! The only time I am ever asked about what foundation I have on is when I am wearing this one. It is absolutely beautiful on the skin and I would recommend it to anyone, except if you have extremely dry skin. The only con I have to say about this foundation is that the shade range is not very good. When I am tan, it isn’t too difficult to find a shade, but if you still want to buy the foundation and can’t find your color, I suggest mixing it with another foundation. I know for a fact that this product mixes well with other matte foundations, so that should not be a problem.

2. Revlon Color Stay Foundation (combo/oily skin)- This foundation is a close second to the pro matte foundation because it also stays on your skin all day long and sets really pretty. I don’t think this one looks as pretty as the pro matte foundation, which is why this isn’t my absolute favorite foundation, but I still really like it. Also, if you don’t want to mix foundations, this one might be a better fit since it has a bigger shade range.

3. Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge– This sponge is my favorite way to apply foundation and concealer. It blends the product really well into the skin and prevents my face from looking cakey. If I am ever taking pictures or want my makeup to look flawless, I will use this sponge to blend in my foundation.

4. Real Techniques Brushes– I have tried so many of these brushes and I love them all! They are so easy to work with, blend really well, and are extremely soft. The best part about these brushes is that when you wash them, they don’t fall apart. I have used more expensive brushes that people raved about and they would fall apart right after I washed them. These brushes are truly my favorite and I really don’t have anything negative to say about them. I think these brushes are very high quality and will not use any other brand.

5. Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer (light pale)- I love this concealer! I feel that this concealer stays on the longest for me and doesn’t get cakey throughout the day. I also don’t have to worry about applying too much because it blends extremely well. I do have to set it with a powder, but as long as I set it, then it won’t crease on me throughout the day.

6. Milani Baked Blush (luminoso)- This blush is a really pretty color if you are looking for something subtle, yet still want to look put together. Even though it is a subtle color, you can still build it up to your liking. I also love this product because it looks great on all  skin tones. Finding colors that match all skin tones is pretty difficult.

7. Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer– I have used this bronzer for over six months and I just can’t stop using it. This bronzer is really great for people who have pale skin because it gives a subtle glow without looking like they just rolled around in a bag of doritos. What I love most about this bronzer is that it never looks orange on me; therefore it’s easy to build up the color and not look overdone. Also, the smell is heavenly! I really love this bronzer and can’t rave about it enough.

8. Loreal Original Telescopic Mascara (Blackest Black)– I love this mascara because it is the only mascara I have tried that lengthens and does not clump my lashes. My lashes tend to clump very easily, but with this product, I have not had that problem. It spreads my lashes out so well and makes them extremely long. The only con about this mascara is that sometimes it doesn’t get dark enough for me; therefore, I have to apply quite a few coats or I will go in with another mascara to darken the color.

9. Maybelline Line Stilleto Eye Liner– If you have hooded eyes like me, then I know you can relate when I say that it is EXTREMELY hard to find an eye liner that will not smear and stay on all day. This eye liner is great because it drys very fast, but isn’t hard to take off. If you are bad at applying eye liner like me, then this product will make it easier to take off if you have to redo it like I do about a hundred times. I do find that it sometimes comes off a little bit around the corner of my eyes throughout the day, but for the most part it stays on and does not smear.

10. Loreal Infallible Pro Matte Liquid Lipstick- I have tried so many drugstore lipsticks and lip glosses and have not found any that compare to this one. With every other product I have tried, I would get those lines on my lips and it would break up right after applying it. This product does not do that at all. It drys to a matte finish but does not make my lips dry. I also love the colors! My favorite so far is “milk and cookies.” It is a beautiful plum color and I always put a lighter color on top of it so it isn’t so dramatic.

I hope you found this post to be helpful and if you have any questions, feel free to message me! Let me know some of your favorites that I might not have talked about.

How I Cleared My Skin!!

skin-photos-for-blog-e1515954636409.jpg

Hey guys! I wanted to share with you a little bit about my struggle with acne and what I did to clear my skin. As you can see in the left picture, my face was not at its best during our engagement session. My cheeks were breaking out in tiny bumps and my chin had big, cystic pimples. I know you can’t tell from the picture, but my forehead was breaking out in tiny bumps as well. I will say that Kayla Sevcech did AMAZING with capturing the right angles and making it appear that my face was clear. I zoomed in on this picture so you could really see what my face looked like. She definitely amazed me with what she could do and I absolutely LOVED our engagement pictures!

Here is my story…

During my second year of college, my face took a turn for the worst. I had cystic acne all over my chin, sometimes having four or five bumps at once. I tried birth control for my face, multi vitamins, and different kinds of face washes. I also tried eating healthy and eliminating dairy from my diet, however, it was very hard to maintain and felt like I couldn’t eat anything I actually liked. After failing multiple times to eat healthy or find anything that actually worked to clear up my skin, I started researching different supplements that could help clear up acne. I watched many youtube videos about it and wanted to see if they would work for me.

After some research on the topic, I came across a supplement called DIM Plus by Nature’s Way. I read that the supplement is made up of many different crucifous vegetables, such as kale, broccoli, arugula, brussels sprouts, and other greens that I would never touch (picky eater). What surprised me was that apparently these greens are supposed to help balance hormones within the body. I had a feeling that I had a hormonal imbalance because most of my cystic acne was on my chin; therefore, I decided to give the supplement a try.

I started taking DIM Plus by Nature’s Way supplements religiously. Every day when I woke up, I would take two of them. After about a week I started to see my acne slowly disappearing. I was still eating like I normally did, even eating pizza and drinking coffee, and my skin kept getting better day by day. I also noticed that I was losing some weight, which is always a plus!

After my face cleared up, I thought maybe I could stop taking them, since my hormones and everything in my body seemed to be balanced. Little did I know that when I stopped taking them, my acne would come back. That was when I realized that the supplement really worked. I started taking them again and my acne started to slowly clear up. This supplement was definitely a game changer for me and has left my skin feeling smooth and full of life.

I wanted to share this with you because I know how difficult it can be to have breakouts, especially when they hurt so bad you can’t even put on makeup or go anywhere. The days that they would be so bad, I just wanted to crawl under a rock and cry. I am so happy that I have found something that actually works and that I don’t restrict certain foods or drinks from my diet. I love being able to eat what I want and still have clear skin. I still get small bumps every now and then but for the most part, my skin remains clear.

If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to send me a message! Also, let me know if you would like to see some skincare products that I use daily to help keep my skin clear.

xoxo,

Hannah

My Favorite Hair Products

My Favorite hair products

Hey guys! Today I’m going to be sharing my favorite hair products with you. I truly believe that taking care of your hair will really benefit you in the long run because it will make it healthy and grow a lot longer. If you want to know my thoughts on these products, keep on reading!

Its a 10 miracle deep conditioner– Let me just start off by saying that this is the BEST product I have ever used on my hair! I have tried many products and nothing compares to this one. Out of all of these, I would definitely recommend the conditioner because just after two uses, my hair went from being extremely dry to very soft and healthy looking. Its a 10 conditioner also tames my crazy, thick hair when I get out of the shower. I have never been able to just leave my house without fixing my hair and this product allows me to do just that. I mostly try to apply the conditioner to the ends of my hair where it gets really dry, so if conditioner ever makes your hair oily, try only applying it to the ends of your hair.

Its a 10 Miracle Leave In Plus Keratin Spray– In addition to the its a 10 conditioner, I also use the leave in spray when I get out of the shower. This spray works really well on top of the conditioner because it gets rid of all tangles, tames your hair, and makes your hair so easy to brush. I don’t know about you, but brushing my hair has always been like pulling teeth because it hurt so freaking bad! This is the only product that I have tried that really keeps my hair free of tangles. It also smells heavenly! Every time I use it, it feels like I just left the hair salon. I would definitely recommend this to anyone, especially if your hair gets tangled easily.

Tresemme Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Spray- I have used this heat protectant spray for years and I still love it. It smells really nice and also protects your hair from getting burned from any kind of heat you put on your hair. I have to use a very hot wand to curl my hair; therefore, I don’t want my hair to suffer from the heat, so this product definitely helps with keeping my hair healthy and prevents my ends from breaking.

Aussie Mega Hairspray 24 Hour Flexible Hold- Since my hair is so thick, it has a tendency to fall flat within a couple hours of fixing it. I have never really cared for hairspray because of the way it felt on my hair, but I really like this product because I don’t have to spray much in it and I am left with big, voluminous hair. It definitely doesn’t take much of this product to get the job done, so I try to use it sparingly so my hair is left feeling soft and healthy.

If you try or have tried any of these products, let me know your thoughts on them. I would love to hear from you! Also, if you have any questions, please feel free to message me any time!

How to Grow Your Hair Out Faster

marble-tips

A couple years ago, I got so frustrated because I wanted my hair to grow so bad but realized it just stayed at one length. I started making small changes that I didn’t think would make a difference, however, those changes really began to work and my hair has grown so much longer and healthier. Here are my 5 tips for growing your hair out faster…

  1. Drink more water. Water is so important for our bodies to have for so many different reasons but it also contributes to our hair growth. The more water you drink, the faster your hair will grow and the stronger it will feel.
  2. Take your vitamins. Vitamins will help to grow and thicken your hair very quickly. You have probably noticed how pregnant women’s hair grows really fast and that is because they take vitamins every day.
  3. Don’t wash your hair every day. This might be hard for some girls with thin hair but it is best not to do it because the more you wash it, the more it prevents your natural oils from allowing your hair to grow and become strong.
  4. Avoid putting heat on your hair every day. I normally curl my hair after I wash and dry it and then leave it alone for the next day or two. I will either put it half way up, in a bun, or leave it down depending on how good my curls last. Avoiding heat every day will prevent your hair from becoming brittle.
  5. Be patient. This was the hardest lesson for me to learn when I felt like my hair wasn’t growing. I was very envious of those girls with long hair, that could do anything to it and it looked good. If you are struggling with growing out your hair or just need some encouragement, try some of these tips and I think you will see some great results.
